The primary purpose of the employee performance evaluation program is to inform employees how well they are performing and to offer constructive criticism on how they can improve their work performance. Performance evaluation shall also be considered in decisions affecting pay advancement, promotions, demotions, dismissals, order of layoff, order of re-employment, placement, and training needs.
