All employees with six (6) months of service regularly scheduled to work fifteen (15) hours or more per week are eligible to participate in a supplemental retirement program to be selected by the City Manager. The City’s contribution on behalf of each eligible employee will be six and two-tenths percent (6.2%) of the first thirty-seven thousand five hundred dollars ($37,500.00) of base wages earned in a calendar year for the first five (5) years of service and of the first fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) of base wages earned in a calendar year for six (6) through ten (10) years of service and of the first sixty-two thousand five hundred dollars ($62,500.00) of base wages earned in a calendar year for eleven (11) through fifteen (15) years of service and of the first seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000.00) of base wages earned in a calendar year for more than fifteen (15) years of service.
