(a) The City Manager shall be responsible for the development and maintenance of a safety program, equal to, but not limited to, OSHA requirements. Such program shall include safety regulations and discipline controls.

(b) Department heads, supervisors, and employees shall guard the safety of themselves, fellow employees, and the public.

(c) When accidents occur on City property, the employee shall contact his or her supervisor immediately and the supervisor shall complete an accident form. In case of a motor vehicle accident, the Police Department shall also be notified immediately.

(d) The City Manager shall be notified of all accidents involving City employees and City equipment as soon as possible and not later than the next work day.
