(a) Private water lines tied into the municipal water lines shall be connected to municipal water lines as provided by rules and regulations of the City of Kenai. The private water line will be required to meet all of the specifications of the City of Kenai even if it requires complete replacement of the private water lime. All costs will be paid by the users of the private water line.

(b) The cost of installing appropriately sized water distribution mains for subdivisions which will permit future extensions to be adequately serviced by the City water system shall be paid for by the property owner asking for connection to the City system. The property owner shall be required to install water mains for either trunk or lateral line use in the size required by the City at no cost to the City.

(c) Water and/or sewer service lines are required to be installed off a main line that is adjacent to the owners property.
