(a) There shall be appointed a City Treasurer-Finance Director for the City who shall exercise all of the authority, and assume the responsibility for financial matters as described in the Charter, Sections 3-4 and 3-5.

(b) Appointment of the City Treasurer-Finance Director shall be by the City Manager to serve for an indefinite term subject to the provisions of Section 3-6 of the Kenai Charter.
