Section 2-7. Council: Absences to Terminate Membership.

If the Mayor or any other Councilmember shall be absent from more than one-half of all the meetings of the Council, regular and special, held within any period of three (3) consecutive calendar months, the Mayor or Councilmember shall thereupon cease to hold office.
